    I would say mechanical

You might be most flexible from you past work
experience with Mechancal. But, if you’re
really interested in nuclear, TN might be one
of the best places to look.

All engineers are basically civil engineers. Industrial, mechanical and nuclear are just few electives off. In terms of an engineering that is close to what you are doing would be industrial. However, mechanical is the highest paying of the ones you mentioned. Most likely with industrial engineering you could stay in TN. With mechanical you may have to move. Regardless of which you eventually take you should consider getting a MBA. An MBA degree is really a summary degree of the economics course your have taken. At the end of the day all engineers end up being consultants. You were just a consultant before you were an engineer. Cheers and good luck.
