first of all, they do deserve it. animals cant speak up for themselves so they need people to do it for them. i am very proud of your girlfriend and you should be too. it takes a lot of guts and a lot of compassion to do what she is doing. it is not FUNNY to kill living things on purpose. it is not ok for a collar to be so tight that the skin is growing over it. this causes infection and eventually death. dont be embarrassed because your girlfriend is doing the right thing. all it sounds like is that she has a conscience.
